Cambridge Ward Coffee Morning.

An enjoyable morning held at Marshside Road Methodist Church Hall which is a super venue.

Stalls, coffee & jaffa cakes all provided in one go, most enjoyable.

Glad to say Ken won a raffle prize (bottle of Whisky) of course I was not given a choice in this instance on which prize to choose.

We also came home with a load of interesting reading, a few cookery books which Ken wants to try out so I am not arguing!!

Met lots of nice people who were also appreciative of the nice weather.



Cambridge Ward Chairman has arranged a coach trip to Bronte Country for Wednesday 28^th May.

Coach leaves Churchtown 9am returning to Southport approx 5-30pm.

Trip will include coffee at "Wuthering Heights" and over 2 hours in Haworth including "Steam Railway Ride" in reserve carriage on the "Railway Children" film line.

Charge £18 includes coach, coffee, return railway fare.
