65th Anniversary of the Normandy Landings world war 2 1944 - 2009. Southport & West Lancs Branch.

How enjoyable but a tearjerker as well. The weather was awful but who cared the spirit was great and when our Armed Forces fought for us I am sure the weather was the least of their worries.

So many brave people who were remembered today by so many.

thanks to the Salvation Army who provided their Band which as usual was appreciated.
